Questions

Printing, your new friends, the QR code, shipping, and the rest.

Are these really Titleist Pro V1s?

Yes. Every ball is a genuine Titleist Pro V1. We print on it; we don't make or relabel anything. The only part that isn't Titleist is the new friend looking back at you. BabelBalls is an independent brand and isn't affiliated with Titleist or Acushnet.

Do they play like Pro V1s?

The ball underneath is a genuine Pro V1, and it plays like one. Whether it plays where you aim it is between you and your new foreign friend. They may have opinions about direction, and none of them are yours. You're welcome to ask them. They'll answer in their own language.

Will it fix my slice?

No. The ball underneath is excellent, and your new friend is not a swing coach. They will, however, take the blame, which is a service in its own right.

Can I choose who I get?

No. You choose the nation, and the ball chooses who you get from that nation's six. They do not take requests. If you order again, we do our best not to send you someone you already have.

What does the QR code do?

Turn the ball over and scan the code on the back. You land on a page that introduces your new friend: where they're from, what they speak, and a few translations you'll never need, until the one day you do. It also adds them to your collection, which is saved on your own phone.

The code won't scan.

A golf ball is not flat, which is great for flight and hard on a QR code. Try good light, hold the phone about four inches away, and tilt the ball a little. Five characters are printed under the code, and you can type them on the scan page.

How many are there?

There are 72 of them across twelve nations. We are not publishing the list, on purpose. Finding out is the game. We may add more, so don't assume you've met everyone.

How long does the print last?

The designs are made for normal play. As with any printed ball, repeated hits off cart paths, trees and bunkers will wear it over time, and a ball that has seen some of the world looks like it. If you want one to keep looking new, keep it off the course and on a shelf, where it will still ignore you.

How long does an order take?

Every ball is printed to order. Printing takes 5 to 7 business days, then shipping. Orders over $75 ship free. Smaller orders are $5.95. Your new friends have been everywhere. Our shipping has not. We currently ship within the United States.

Can I buy just one?

Yes. Each ball is sold on its own, and it will be just as stubborn alone. The Full Tower has one from every nation for less than buying them one at a time.

Do you take custom orders?

Not as a standard option. If you're planning an event or a larger order, write to hello@babelballs.com and we'll tell you what's possible. Tournaments, bachelor parties and the client with a 14 handicap are the usual reasons.

What if something arrives damaged or wrong?

Write to hello@babelballs.com with your order details and a photo, and we'll make it right.

Isn't this a little mean to some countries?

That's the line we watch. The humor is light, self-aware, and aimed at the ball. Each one is a gentle stereotype their own country already tells, and every one is equally bad at taking directions. If you think we've crossed it, tell us at hello@babelballs.com.
